NMUMC ~ Every Member a Disciple
We, the people of the New Milford United Methodist Church, strive to be a light in the world. We invite people from all walks of life to join our journey in seeking a deeper and more committed relationship with God through Jesus Christ. We realize this relationship by discovering our God-given gifts through disciplined worship, study, stewardship, fellowship and mission. We make manifest His love by sharing our gifts and faith in service to others, and grow as Christ's disciples.

“The 192 acre Center offers year-round programs including; school field trips, pre-school enrichment, summer camp, scout advancement, and weekend events.” Hiking trails cross meadows, the East Aspetuck River, and climb New Milford’s second highest point, Mount Tom. Farm animals include sheep, chickens and ducks.” The Center is staffed by full time educators and naturalists ready to assist you with your program needs and nature related questions.
Since 1973, TheatreWorks has been a dynamic force in the cultural growth of the area. Over the years, the productions have developed to a level of quality that can easily rival productions seen at many off-Broadway theaters.
During this time, TheatreWorks has scrupulously maintained its commitment to bringing the magic of live theatre to our region. In so doing we have created a public legacy of excellence in the arts of which we are all justifiably proud.
This non-profit theatre is dedicated to offering our audiences outstanding entertainment at affordable prices and has never failed to consider the needs of the community. Seniors are welcomed at our popular “Senior Night” dress rehearsal and folks on a budget can take advantage of the new “Pay What You Want Night” program. In addition, our TheatreWorks Kids programs offers children & teens a chance to experience the thrill of performing.
The mission of the Village Center Organization of New Milford is to promote and preserve New Milford’s classic village center as the historic heart of a growing community.
