Welcome to The Greater New Milford Chamber of Commerce
The Greater New Milford Chamber of Commerce will be hosting our seventh annual golf outing on Monday, June 16, 2008 at The Club at River Oaks in Sherman, Connecticut.
The golf fee of $185.00 per person will include greens fees, golf cart, continental breakfast, lunch, refreshments, hors d’oeuvres and a dinner buffet.
The shotgun start begins at 10 a.m. with registration and breakfast at 9 a.m. The grand prize winner will receive golf at River Oaks which will include greens fee and golf cart for up to four players. The outing will once again feature “Hole-in-One” Prizes as well as tournament prizes including 1st, 2nd, and 3rd low gross, longest drive, and closest to pin. The proceeds of this event will benefit the Chamber scholarship program as well as other Chamber seminars and events. Golf Outing Sponsorships are available as a tournament sponsor, dinner sponsor, corporate sponsor, tee sponsor, and event program sponsor.

Village Fair Days Committee Looking for Vendors for 41st Annual Village Fair Days – July 25th & July 26th 2008
The Village Fair Days Committee is pleased to announce that we are seeking vendors for the 2008 Village Fair Days: Arts, Crafts, Antiques, Businesses, Organizations, Church Groups, and Clubs.
Sponsored by the Greater New Milford Chamber of Commerce and held on the magnificent village Green, Village Fair Days is the largest annual event in New Milford and draws thousands of visitors every year. With 2 full days of live entertainment, bingo, a food court and over a hundred vendor and community booths, Village Fair Days is a summertime destination for shopping, eating and browsing. This year’s fair will include the final judging of The New Milford Idol contest which will be held on Friday, July 25th from 7 to 10 pm.

The Greater New Milford Chamber of Commerce proudly celebrated its 75th anniversary in 2006. Incorporated as a Chamber on March 27th 1931, the GNMCC serves as a united voice of the business people in our community. We endeavor to advance the commercial, industrial, and civic interests of the Greater New Milford area.
The GNMCC is a medium for area business people to network, share information and ideas and collaborate on issues affecting the business community and general well being of the regional area. Through the monthly activities and events offered, area business people are afforded the opportunity to come together in both business and social settings. The GNMCC also serves as the organizational mechanism in bringing together private business and resources to assist the locale, provides a portfolio of services to assist member companies in growing their respective businesses, and offers assistance to firms inquiring about the area.
However, business growth is not the sole purpose of the Chamber. The GNMCC is a catalyst for positive and progressive growth and continuous improvement in the lifestyles of the people in its hometowns. It is also a marketer of the communities it serves by sponsoring festive and cultural events such as its annual Village Fair Days and Hands On Train Display, among other community activities.
Our membership consists of business people from all facets of the community, including retailers, manufacturers, service organizations, and professionals.
