Back in 2008, the New Milford Idol judges: Phil, Fran, Vin and Kurt were on the lookout for local singing talent. Contestants competed for Fabulous Prizes with a final showdown on the Town Green on the Friday of Village Fair Days.

42nd Annual New Milford Village Fair Days
The Greater New Milford Chamber of Commerce sponsors the largest annual event in New Milford – Village Fair Days. Although the Fair is always held on the last Friday & Saturday in July, the dates change from year to year. Village Fair Days 2009 will be held July 24th and July 25th. Held on the magnificent Green in New Milford’s historical downtown area, Village Fair Days is the place to be.
The south Green is filled with businesses, organizations, church groups and clubs, while the north Green hosts skillful crafters and sought-after antiques. Food vendors grace the mid-section for the hungry fairgoer, offering a delicious snack or a wonderful meal that can be enjoyed in our sit-down dining area. There are two days full of entertainment under the big tent for you to enjoy as well.
The extraordinary volunteers, who make up the Village Fair Days Committee, work year-round to make the Fair an enjoyable experience for everyone. The Chamber extends its gratitude to them and thanks all who help make Village Fair Days such a spectacular event!

Parking. Parking is available at the John Pettibone Elementary School located on Rte. 7. Ride the Fair Shuttle Bus to and from the Green. Free.
